Finding Ground

A six-week journey back to yourself

You may look like you're coping.

But somewhere inside, you know something isn't quite right.

Perhaps you're tired of feeling anxious, overwhelmed or emotionally drained.

Perhaps you've become so used to putting everyone else first that you're no longer sure what you need.

Maybe you're functioning. Getting through the days. Doing what needs to be done.

But underneath it all, you feel disconnected.

From yourself.

From your feelings.

From your body.

From the person you used to be — or perhaps the person you've never quite had the space to become.

And you're tired of trying to think your way out of it.

What if you didn't need to try harder?

What if, instead, you could begin to slow down, listen inwardly and develop a different relationship with yourself?

Finding Ground is a six-week online journey designed to help you reconnect with yourself, your body and your inner resources — so that you can begin to feel more grounded, present and able to move forward.

You don't have to have everything figured out

You don't need to know exactly what's wrong.

You don't need a diagnosis.

And you don't need to arrive with a clear idea of what you need.

You may simply have a sense that:

•you're overwhelmed more often than you'd like

•you're constantly thinking, analysing or worrying

•you're disconnected from what you actually feel

•you're exhausted from holding everything together

•you're struggling to know what you want

•you keep finding yourself in the same patterns

•you've become disconnected from your body

•something in your life needs to change, but you don't know what

•you've spent so long adapting to other people's needs that you've lost touch with your own

•part of you is longing for something different

If any of this feels familiar, Finding Ground may offer you a place to begin.

This isn't about becoming a different person

It's about coming back to yourself.

Over the six weeks, we'll gently explore what happens when you stop fighting against yourself and start becoming curious about what is happening within you.

You'll be invited to notice:

What am I feeling?

What is my body telling me?

What do I need?

What patterns keep showing up?

What have I been carrying?

What matters to me now?

There may not always be an immediate answer.

And that's okay.

Sometimes the first step isn't finding the answer.

It's learning to listen.

Your six-week journey

Week 1 — Coming Back to Yourself

You may have become very good at functioning, coping and carrying on.

This week is about pausing.

You'll begin to notice where you are right now, what you're experiencing and what may have been asking for your attention.

Practice: Coming Back to Yourself

Week 2 — Listening to Your Body

Your body is experiencing your life alongside you.

Tension, tightness, restlessness, heaviness, warmth, numbness — these sensations can become invitations to slow down and listen.

You'll begin developing a more compassionate awareness of your body and what it may be communicating.

Practice: Body Listening

Week 3 — Making Space for Your Feelings

Sometimes we spend so much energy trying not to feel something that we become disconnected from feeling altogether.

This week is about gently turning towards your emotional experience rather than immediately trying to change it, suppress it or understand it.

You'll explore how emotions can be acknowledged without becoming overwhelmed by them.

Practice: Allowing What Is Here

Week 4 — Understanding the Patterns

Why do you keep ending up here?

Why do certain situations affect you so deeply?

Why do you respond in ways you wish you didn't?

We'll begin exploring the patterns, beliefs and old ways of being that may have developed to help you cope — and consider whether they still serve you now.

Practice: Meeting an Old Pattern

Week 5 — Finding Your Inner Ground

Beneath all the noise, there may be a quieter sense of knowing.

This week is about reconnecting with your inner resources, your values, your intuition and your sense of what feels right for you.

You'll explore what it means to develop greater self-trust.

Practice: Finding Your Ground

Week 6 — Moving Forward

You don't need to have everything resolved by the end of six weeks.

Instead, you'll look at what you've discovered about yourself and consider how you want to carry that awareness into your life.

You'll create your own ways of recognising when you're becoming disconnected again — and practices for coming back to yourself.

Practice: Your Way Back

A different way of working with yourself

Finding Ground brings together reflective therapeutic practices with body awareness, grounding, visualisation and gentle somatic and energetic practices.

You won't be asked to force yourself to change.

Instead, you'll be encouraged to become curious about your experience and develop a kinder, more connected relationship with yourself.

The emphasis is on experience rather than simply understanding.

Because sometimes knowing why you feel the way you do isn't enough.

You also need to be able to feel safe enough to experience yourself differently.

What you'll receive

Over six weeks you'll have access to:

•six themed modules

•short, easy-to-follow video lessons

•guided audio practices

•reflective exercises

•grounding and body-awareness practices

•a downloadable workbook

•simple practices you can return to whenever you need them

•gentle prompts to help you take what you're discovering into everyday life

Everything is designed to be manageable alongside your existing life.

You don't need to spend hours studying.

This isn't another thing you have to achieve.

It's time you've chosen to give to yourself.

Imagine...

Waking up and feeling a little more connected to yourself.

Being able to notice what you're feeling before it becomes overwhelming.

Recognising an old pattern without automatically stepping back into it.

Knowing when you need to pause.

Feeling more comfortable listening to your own needs.

Having somewhere to return to when life feels too much.

Beginning to trust yourself a little more.

And perhaps, gradually, feeling less like you're trying to get through your life...

...and more like you're actually living it.

Is Finding Ground right for you?

This programme may be a good fit if you're ready to become more curious about yourself and are willing to give yourself some space to reflect, notice and practise.

It's particularly suited to people who feel:

Overwhelmed
Life feels like too much and you don't know how to slow things down.

Disconnected
You know something is happening inside you, but you struggle to access or understand it.

Stuck
You keep encountering the same patterns, thoughts or behaviours and want to understand them differently.

Lost
You've spent so long responding to what everyone else needs that you're unsure what you want for yourself.

Ready for something to change
Not necessarily everything. Just enough to begin moving in a different direction.

You don't need to wait until things get worse

You don't have to reach breaking point before you start paying attention to yourself.

You don't have to justify needing support.

And you don't have to know exactly where this journey will take you.

You only need to be willing to take the first step.

Come and find your ground.

A little about me

I'm Juliet, a counsellor and integrative practitioner.

My work is rooted in creating a safe, compassionate space where you can slow down, explore what's really happening for you and begin to reconnect with the parts of yourself that may have become lost along the way.

I believe that meaningful change isn't always about fixing what's wrong with us.

Sometimes it's about developing enough space, safety and awareness to hear ourselves again.

Finding Ground grew from this way of working.

It's a way of bringing some of that experience into a programme you can work through in your own time and at your own pace.

I'd love to welcome you.

— Juliet
